My first impression was that of amazement at the models hair, but then upon a closer look, I see that the flowers and stuff has been added after the photo was taken by computer enhancement. . . and after looking, probably the background, but that is not as obvious as the objects on her hair.

The model is very clean and well made up, and there is harmony between her facial expression and the dirty and muddy background, but the flowers and red leaves only match the colour of her outfit and it is unclear how those things connect to the model. . .

I give 3.5 stars on vision because I cannot seem to find the connection of the different elements, and so I feel unclear about what is trying to be communicated.

I give 5 stars on originality, because when the other works loaded on DA, my eyes went straight to this one, and I instantly became drawn into the work - which is also why I give 5 for impact. . . this is a very unforgeable work. . .

I give 4 on technique - all of the elements seem to come together one way or the other, however, the objects above her head are obviously "digitized" in because they look cartoonish and does not match the source of light. . . all the pieces are very well done individually, but there is a slight disharmony among them. . .

The cartoonish stuff above her head annoy me, and yet I cannot help but say, "hmmm this is interesting. . ."

There is one reason I find this hard to critique - the things I would take a few points off for, are the reason I can't stop looking at the work! This one is definitely a conversation starter and a conversation maintainer. . . .
