How has this not got any comments yet? Hehe ah well I will change that now
I really love the composition of this piece. I love how the colours are all a little faded, pastel shades and the background is also a very pale shade but your figure really stands out from the background. I think having the background blurred a little helps achieve this effect.
The headdress is epic! But it looks very heavy and I think this can be seen on how you are holding your head. Your chin looks a little too dipped and it would be easy for me to say to raise your chin but I guess with a piece like that on your head would be impossible!
I really love your expression. Not just a model pout, but a hint of a slightly cocky smile I feel. I have read through previous comments on your pieces where people have criticized you on your same expression but I believe that when you come up with pieces like this, all else is forgotten!
I absolutely love the detailing on the body armour below your bust and although there is a lot going on in this piece, nothing is too over done. I think the decision to keep the make-up how you have done it was perfect. It is there, but does not distract the eye too much.
Obviously an artist of your caliber can be tired of hearing the same compliments. From your pictures I can tell you're quite a perfectionist. If you don't mind, I would like to share my humble critique from my perspective. I hate how your eyes aren't light up properly. Your lighting in your pictures have always been immaculate, but not this one. Your eyes look dead and gets lost in the picture. Also I hate the reflection on your chest. It's uneven and distracting. It makes you breasts look lopsided. Obviously overall the picture is, styling, outfit etc. is beyond awesome, but I don't like the lighting in this one.
And I'm not saying negative stuff just for the sake of doing it. Cuz I'm a huge fan of your work and I'm very inspired by you.
the costume, posture and lights seem to fit in quite well... yet the background is kind of... killing it? some of the details disappear over the background because of the colors and lights on it.
