I'd recommend maybe using more colors. It's all a bit monotonous without actually going the full distance to be monotone. Maybe a couple of shades of green or blue in the background, wig, or accesories would have helped here? The balls seem kind of out of place. With everything else leaning towards a warm color scheme, the few blue and green balls kind of grab too much attention. Maybe if they would have all matched the warm color scheme or if the rest of the picture included those colors, they would make more sense?
Regardless, the picture is still very unique. I can't say that I've ever seen anything like this before. It has little dashes of so many things in it. It's classy and fun at the same time. It also look very professional. I can't wait to see more from you in the future!
I really enjoy this piece. It has great movement and diagonals; starting from the upper left with the dress flowing into the piece, up the body and follows out through her intense stare. The thing I like most about the piece is the choice of background. The monumental stature and elevation of the figure reminds me of late 17th through 18th century portraits of noble figures, and even though this depicts a very modern subject the old, cathedral-like background ties even more of the traditional artistic conventions in. However what I find really compelling about the background is the angle compared to the figure, I try and place her on the wall or perhaps she has grown large like an Alice in Wonderland quality, but somehow that's not right either. The beautiful model and dazzling costume draws me in and trying to place her within her surroundings keeps my attention. The only thing I could think about changing is the bright spot in the right. I found it a bit distracting and unbalancing over all. Great job creating an attractive, compelling piece. I hope to see more beautiful and elegant from you!
Are those balls on strings? I just love how they occupy the 3D space. I love the color and how the dress is draped up. This piece is really blowing me away.
